The Browse Lenders® Advocate Desk™ is a consumer-focused education and support resource designed to help homebuyers, homeowners, and borrowers better understand the mortgage process and confidently connect with lenders available through the Browse Lenders® platform.

The Advocate Desk™ provides general mortgage education, platform navigation support, and access to Middle Credit Score® educational resources so consumers can approach lenders with greater clarity and preparedness.

The Advocate Desk™ does not originate loans, negotiate loan terms, provide underwriting guidance, or recommend specific lenders.
All lending decisions remain the responsibility of the licensed lenders available through the Browse Lenders® platform.


What Consumers Can Expect From the Browse Lenders® Advocate Desk™

1. Understanding How Browse Lenders® Works

The Advocate Desk™ helps consumers understand how the Browse Lenders® platform operates, including:

• How lenders appear on the platform
• How to locate lenders in your state
• How to submit a loan scenario for lender review
• How lenders evaluate consumer scenarios
• How to communicate directly with lenders

Consumers always maintain full control over which lenders they choose to contact.


2. Access to Certified Lending Professionals

Lenders appearing on the Browse Lenders® platform are Middle Credit Score® Certified Lenders or Middle Credit Score® Certified Lender Instructors who participate in the Middle Credit Score® professional education network.

These lenders have completed certification training focused on:

• Credit awareness in mortgage lending
• borrower preparedness and financial literacy
• responsible credit communication
• professional mortgage process transparency

Consumers may choose to contact any lenders available on the platform within their state.

The Advocate Desk™ does not recommend, rank, or prioritize lenders.


3. Mortgage Process Education

The Advocate Desk™ provides general educational guidance about the home financing process, including:

• How mortgage pre-qualification and pre-approval work
• What documents lenders typically require
• How the loan process progresses from application to closing
• Typical mortgage timelines
• Common mortgage terminology and fees

This education helps consumers better understand the mortgage process before speaking with lenders.


4. Middle Credit Score® Education

Through the Advocate Desk™, consumers gain access to educational resources from Middle Credit Score®, a trademarked credit education framework designed to help consumers better understand credit scoring in mortgage lending.

These resources help consumers:

• Understand what a Middle Credit Score is
• Learn how credit reports influence mortgage approvals
• Recognize common credit report issues
• Improve financial preparedness before applying for a loan

Middle Credit Score® is an educational resource only and does not provide credit repair services or lender-specific credit advice.


5. Preparing to Speak With Lenders

The Advocate Desk™ may help consumers understand how to prepare for lender conversations, including:

• Questions borrowers commonly ask lenders
• Documents lenders may request during the application process
• What to expect during pre-approval
• How to organize financial information before applying

All underwriting decisions and loan approvals are made solely by the licensed lenders available on the platform.


Neutral Platform Access

Browse Lenders® allows consumers to connect directly with lenders participating on the platform.

Consumers may:

• Contact lenders directly
• Invite lenders to review their loan scenario
• Compare lender responses
• Choose which lender they wish to work with

The Advocate Desk™ does not steer, recommend, or influence lender selection.


Participation Transparency

Lenders appearing on the Browse Lenders® platform are Middle Credit Score® Certified Lenders or Certified Lender Instructors who participate in the Middle Credit Score® professional education network.

Participation in this network includes eligibility to appear on the Browse Lenders® platform within a lender’s state.

Browse Lenders® does not receive compensation based on:

• consumer selection of a lender
• loan applications submitted
• loan approvals issued
• loans closed

Consumers maintain full independence when selecting which lender they wish to contact.
