History

David Silverman and his wife, Sandy, founded NFM Lending in 1998 in Baltimore, Maryland with four Loan Originators. The company has since grown to an award-winning, multi-state residential mortgage lender. Silverman currently serves as CEO and, along with President Bob Tyson, fosters a culture of family and sound business practices. NFM’s corporate operations currently reside in Linthicum, Maryland, close to BWI Marshall airport. 

At NFM Lending, we start every new transaction by getting to know the client’s unique financial situation. Beginning with the basics of listening and learning about the people we serve lets us help our clients choose the best mortgage product. The result is customer satisfaction. Our common sense lending philosophy also supports the economic health of our company and the national housing market.
